with NSFW Romance

Last year, my fellow deviant author, Eris Adderly, (yes, the one who does my book covers!) found a partner-in-crime to start a podcast called NSFW Romance. Eris and her buddy, the wicked and amiable Shane Starrett, wanted to talk about story craft with other writers in the NSFW realm. It’s Season 2 for them already, and they are still coaxing favorite authors to chat. They asked me to talk with them one evening.

And I said, “Um, yes?”

Uh-oh, where’s my game night microphone?

That night ended up being shortly after I’d finished the draft for Sister Seekers 6: The Mark of Gold. A beloved character from the old series was back in the game, and readers were glad to see him. The timing was great for my feeling like I had accomplished something and wanting to talk about it.

I had a great evening talking fantasy craft with them, despite squirming in my seat, running out of bottled water, and tiptoeing around spoilers for such a massive series. And somehow, I sounded coherent.
